Retail

Speed is of the essence in retail. Every Monday morning, our retail clients send their weekly data by FTP transfer. As soon as we receive the information, the files are RIP’d and converted into PDFs for approval by electronic transfer. By Monday afternoon, we’re ready to go to press. An incredible 6 million 16pp A4 broadsheets are printed, finished in-line and packed to each store’s requirements. On Thursday, they are delivered to 36 different addresses - that’s fast!

Door drop

There’s no time for rest in the printing industry. We produce millions of door drop flyers every single weekend. The data is received by FTP transfer on Friday. After approval by electronic PDF, we print, cut and pack more than 6 million 2pp A4 flyers to Royal Mail specifications. These are ready for delivery to eight Royal Mail Distribution Centres first thing on Monday morning.

Financial

Finance organisations are massive print users, so they need ‘just in time’ delivery of high volumes of inserts. When we get the call on a Monday, we’re expected to fulfil 12 million pieces into DL envelopes by Thursday. There’s no margin for error. To ensure we deliver on time, every time, we can hold print in stock at constantly maintained levels - so we’re always ready for the next call.

Catalogues

When it comes to complex data and logistics, we’re tried and trusted. After all when a 288pp A5 catalogue needs to be printed in 17 languages, then 420,000 copies perfect bound and delivered to 17 European addresses, your systems need to be absolutely foolproof. That’s why we produce high-resolution iris proofs of the main version, low-resolution proofs of all language changes, plus book proofs for pagination and layout - all from a common file from which plates are produced - ensuring what you see is exactly what you get.
